It would be very helpful for the course content of courses created in Create to be downloadable to PDF or PPT such that trainees could print to take notes if desired.
We also may need to decide on how to display the "Tool tips" since they may actually be an integral part of the training (at least that's how I use them). For those I would suggest a screen of the slide without the tool tips expanded and one with them extended
For the timed slides, i don't know if it's possible but I would think that it's better to have them recoded at the end, unless there are "disappearing" elements, in which case it would need to be recorded every time an item changes, Could the system handle this kind of decision making? If not i believe it's better to have it record every time something changes
Thanks to everyone that voted on this, Absorb create is now considering this for a roadmap candidate. Please continue to weigh in on how you'd expect the screenshots of courses to behave. One of the complexities that we need to navigate for this capability is whether to screenshot the slide in the 0 second position for timed slides, or the last second, or every time something changes in the slide. If you've commented or voted on this idea we may reach out to you directly in the future.
This is one of my main issues with auditors/regulators. When they ask to see our training material i can't easily provide them with access due to security set up and creating print screen every time is time consuming. This would be such a crucial development!
For any legal case you need to provide evidence of the training that has been delivered. You cannot enroll a legal team on absorb to see the material, you need a file copy to send in an email. This is a real shock that this has been considered undeliverable when many of your competitors offer this.
"Low probability of delivery" for this idea needs to be reexamined! If it is not possible to develop the solution as outlined by the guest comment below, come back to the user community with an alternative solution. This issue affects a larger portion of the user community than you have heard from. We need a solution, not a "dust-off".
I am surprised to find this idea moved to low probability of delivery. We created content that span many slides and the current solution is as arduous job. Our users are requesting a way to have quick access to their content and a PDF of the CREATE course content would be helpful for them to refer back to it, during the quiz and after competing the training.
I would urge to prioritize this action. It is imperative that one is able to download content into a pptx or pdf format. "photo" each page is simply not workable. We need this format to work for uploading to internal approval system. This specifically has prevented us for buying Absorb Create which is a big shame.
For your learners , you can add this composed PDF as a resource for download when they click a shape or image at the end of the course for them to download.
This could help fill this need for you and your learners.
If a legal team was to request evidence of course content they would expect to see a paper version. They wouldn't login and obtain the content as a user, therefore it would be important for us to be able to download this content. I have had to screenshot content and create a word file amounting to over 100 page document per module.
I would love to be able to export these presentations to our files, so coworkers have a Powerpoint doc to refer to and edit. Some of my coworkers do not want to use the system. They want to use Powerpoint, which they are familar with. They could e...

In Absorb Create, it would be very useful if we had the functionality to export the training materials as both a Powerpoint and PDF. This would have a number of benefits: 1. In creating trainings, especially more detailed trainings with lots of wo...

Agree with a higher prioritization for this request as any prior review whether it's legal or executive review will need this feature.
Low Probability of Delivery?

It's unfortunate that this is not an option. This would be very useful in a variety of functions, including but not limited to:
Download for backup hard copy
Student download for offline study
Our students have been asking for such a feature for a while now.

Thank you, everyone, for sharing your thoughts.
You can compose a PDF with each slide from Absorb Create and then compose a PDF document. Please review this KB article https://support.absorblms.com/hc/en-us/articles/19153545360019-Print-or-save-content-as-a-PDF
For your learners , you can add this composed PDF as a resource for download when they click a shape or image at the end of the course for them to download.

I wholeheartedly agree that this would be super helpful.
