When a person makes a purchase and they have an open cart, the system is assigning the date the cart was left open as the transaction date and not the current date of the purchase.
We recently had a purchase in January 2024. The person had an open cart from March 2023 and the system assigned the March 2023 date to the transaction record. We have documented three this week.
We would like to see the shopping cart emptied after 24 hours if no purchase is made.
We have also had a similar issue, where by the basket item was added in Euros and then removed an 11months later a different course was added and paid in GBP - however the system receipt showed that the client paid in Euros as the system kept the original transaction details.
This is an issue for us too. We sell seats in lots of small classes, and it's a pain to have to manually clear people's carts so that all the seats can be filled.
