It would be great to have the ability to set up a nudge to go to the supervisor only after the employee has had a specified number of nudges. This would basically escalate the nudge to the supervisor when the employee has not completed the training after XX number of nudges.
Manager nudging after a certain timeframe would be extremely helpful. We also have managers who complain about receiving too many emails from the system, and i think managers should only be notified once employees have been given ample opportunity to complete the courses on their own. Nudging managers after the set "due date" may also be a good alternative.
I also agree with the option to nudge in general after "Time from Enrollment" as mentioned by the user below. The static date is not helpful, as enrollments are very rarely ever sent out once for a course.
If I could add in here - on the note of nudges...
Adding the option to nudge after a certain timeframe that scales from enrollment would be more helpful than the current option of a static date.
The static date is good if you are rolling out one off training to everyone, but as we all know people get added in all the time. So to be able to give users a grace period before nudges go out would be helpful.
It would be similar to the "Time from Enrollment" option already offered under Availability.
Excellent idea. I have a lot of managers who already complain about the number of emails they are receiving. Something like our mandatory training where staff have several months to complete....the nudges would be great for them through out that time period, but once the time is up, then the managers would start to also be nudged.
Thank you for sharing this idea and for your reasoning for better controls over supervisor nudges. We completely understand how valuable this improvement would be for you and many others.
While it’s definitely on our radar, our current strategic priorities mean it may be several quarters before we can invest in this feature. Please know that we’ll keep you updated as things progress, and we appreciate your understanding and patience.
Great idea - supervisors don't need to be on every nudge because that is too cumbersome, but this would automate the audit process we manually do of "ok, who's really overdue and who do they work for?"
