Our organization requires our learners to re-certify on a regular basis (every 2 years). The original certificate expires 2 years from the date of completion. The learner will then be required to complete a Recertification course 2 years later. When we set the expiration date on the certificate of the Recertification course, our only options in Absorb are "no expiry", "from completion" and "date."
We would like an option to set the expiration date from the date of the previous certificate. The reason this is needed is because if the learner originally completed the certificate program on July 1, but then recertified on June 15, then we want the new certificate to expire on July 1 to coincide with the original date. If the new certificate expired on June 15, then the learner would have lost two weeks of certification time.
