I'd like to see it such that when I click the filter button for a column and start typing, it enters the text in the right section of the filter. IE: I click the LAST NAME filter, and the default is prefilled with LAST NAME and CONTAINS; I should start typing the detail, and it goes into that field. Currently, my experience is that the cursor goes to the column selection field. I have already chosen the column; I should not need to click on the detail field before typing the name I'm searching for.
Completely agree!!! A lot of confusion and extra clicks. default active cursor into the entry field, I already selected the field I wanted to filter off of, seems silly to default there should I want to change it.
