Nudge emails have a great feature. You can have them run every “X” days and then automatically shut off after running “Y” # of times. Wouldn’t it be great if you could also do that with Scheduled Reports?
Example:
I’d like to run a Scheduled Report (weekly on every Wednesday), and then after “Y” # of weeks, I’d like it to automatically shut off.
Wouldn’t that be helpful?
Thanks,
Rick
I agree. Without this function, reports are tedious to manage manually.
We have a use case where we rotate teams through the LMS at certain times and the team needs to complete a course by the end of the following week. Team leaders need a daily progress report for the week so that they can ensure that everyone completes it in time. We have teams that overlap each other so tracking can be complicated and time-consuming.
Ideally, there might even be an option like this: "report is active until [these certain learners] have completed the course." That way the report stops as soon as everyone in a certain group or list has completed that course.
OR add an end date to the report schedule.
YES - in our use case we monitor for 6 weeks. After that there usually is no longer a need for the report. It is tedious to have go back and cancel the scheduled occurrence
I also think it could be "active until" and be a date. Because while the course is actively being taken by all employees its only a month window that i need to know the progress. yes i can turn it off, but being able to say 'weekly' up to 5 times would be perfect, and on week 6+ its just deactivated and I can turn it on again next year when they need to take it again.
