Make all courses available in the public dashboard catalog

PROBLEM: Currently, when using the Catalog ribbon in a public dashboard, only courses available for purchase can be seen.
If courses are offered free of charge, they are not visible in the public catalog. If course prices are set to $0, they will appear but forces users to complete a checkout process for $0.

IDEA: Make all courses (not just ecommerce) visible in the public dashboard.
Prospective learners should be able to visit a public dashboard, view all courses in the catalog, and make the decision to register and enroll. If they visit our public dashboard today, they will see 0 courses available in the catalog, which looks like we have no courses to offer them, discouraging them from registering.

https://ideas.absorblms.com/ideas/LMS-I-3784 should be merged with this one.

We would still benefit from a solution to this major issue!

Would like to upvote this for us. This could really help us with driving visibility to our externally-facing content without requiring users (or potential users) to log in and can help us grow our Community user base as another entry point.

I agree, if we can also allow learners to view the course on the public dashboard with no pricing and would need to sign up into the LMS to make the purchase.

Agreed! This is a huge problem for us. We should also be able to control which courses are visible on public dashboard.
