It would be great if the certificates could be attached as pdf's to the completion email that gets sent out once the attendance has been marked, instead of it just being available in the "transcript" section. This would increase the learner experience as they would not only get the recognition instantly but it means they don't need to do anything further to access the certificate.

I would want an attached PDF Certificate to the completion email on Online Courses, Curriculums and ILCs. I would also like the ability to turn this on or off if that's possible. Thank you!
I would also want it in both, and as Jolie said, being able to decide each time whether or not to include it would be perfect. All learners have email addresses, so that won't be a problem.
It would help to work in both. Better to overcommunicate than under. I do think a toggle to "add certificate to email?" in the message section for completions will help to not drown people in emails. SInce we can decide to send completion emails, it would be nice to merely add certifcate to it too.
I understand your question, though too because many of our online courses have a generic certificate place holder, but no actual certificate. Hence, why a toggle would work better than a default. We used to get so many emails about the grey certificate versus the color option.
Both online courses and ILC please! We do have an email address for each of our learners.

And in your organizations, do all of your Learners have email addresses associated with their accounts?
This would be amazing - though we'd also need the ability to turn that off and on per course.
I agree. My experience with other LMS' is that the user will not go and look for content like certificates - it needs to be sent to them directly via their email.
