With the new student learner view there are several options for the new course player template.
There currently isn't the option to have no side bars available for the students to open and access when viewing the learning object.
This idea would simply be an additional template that is automatically enabled when students are in a weighted assessment. This template would consist of only the assessment content. All sidebars wouldn't appear on screen or be available for students to click or open. This would only be for assessments that are weighted; With all other assessments, the template would revert to the default set by the administrator.
This would be useful when assessments are used as Final Exams with a course. Students wouldn't have easy access to the Recourses tab for the course thanks to this new template. This new template would mirror the old course player style of only showing the content for the object and no sidebars.
