e.g. 09/12/2022 should be displayable as Friday, 9th December 2022 or 9th December 2022
We use the absorb platform worldwide, currently custom notifications only display dates as mm/dd/yyyy. This can cause unnecessary confusion for international users and US users for example 4/5/2023 could be interpreted as 4th May 2023 or 5th April 2023.
To avoid confusion we would like the facility when communicating to user via email to be able to format data to spell out in long format what the correct data actually is, e.g. Thursday 4th May 2023 and perhaps have other variants as well perhaps even getting down to a country country appropriate level.
however being able to format any date field with a formatable date to clear up potential would be a significant enhancement.
This is a much needed enhancement idea. Couldn't agree more with original poster about the implications that various formats can have on the user experience. Thanks for your consideration.
