Right now, new conversations between learners can only happen by clicking on a users profile in the Leaderboard, Collaborations, or course comments. This is not intuitive and challenging for some.
It would be very helpful if user names were auto populated in a "To" field somewhere in the messages icon.
Agreed. We are trying to foster more collaboration and networking, which would benefit from easy access to messaging other learners. Also, there needs to be a "Sent" inbox to see messages you have sent. Right now we have the sender include themselves as a recipient if they want a copy of the message they're sending.
We direct instructors to take conversations outside of Absorb into email because users can't find a way to message their instructors in Absorb.
