The ability to create Badges for non-course achievements

Gamification is a learning trend and something we're looking to help combat learner fatigue. Being able to assign a badge to users who've achieved something other than completing a course. This could include items such as time frames, course numbers, logons and course completion within a specific category.

For example, achieving 10 hours of learning, logging on 100 times, or having completed any course in a specific category, in the same way modern games assign badges or achievements for doing the same, would be beneficial and encourage people to embrace learning more/more often.

I would also add in things like:

    • Be the first to complete a course (incentivize learners to finish it as soon as it is assigned)

    • Be #1 on any leaderboard for 1 month, 3 months, etc...

    • Most learning hours for the month

    • Highest scores for the month/year, etc...
