Limit Name Visibility on Leaderboards, and Other Social Engage Features

Would like to have a way to make the Engage features to display the names of the Learners to be first name and then an initial. Our Learners are primarily external and also don't know each other personally. It's nice to have features like Leaderboard to have a sense of shared competition but knowing the exact identity of the other Learners opens up to showing people too much personal identifiable information. Especially Learners with very unique last names. It could even be a set options based on the info in the profile fields, like the "username = ?" for a Department. "Display name =" First name initial, Last name; First name, Last name initial; email; username; First three letters of first and last; allow user to make up their own with free text field.
