It would be helpful to track the training for external training, if the user could select from a drop down of external training templates. For example, I could build out several templates with different names like Safety, Professional Development, Technical Training. When the user selects the External Training button on the homepage, they could select which template to submit their external training under. On the Admin side, it would help with tracking the documents instead of only tracking them under 1 general template.
This is essential for easy use for end user and for leaders/admins to have easy access and control over which sertificates/courses employees needs to take and has taken.
Being able to categorise by Credit Type would be really beneficial to our Members as we are currently relying on them typing in the Credit Type, which has the potential to cause all types of errors
The current entry form seems to offer no mechanism to categorize external training. This has implications for reporting. We are much less interested in the cost of an external training, for example, than we are in connecting the training with internal categories.
This is essential. Let's presume you have 10 different programs and they all want to have an easy certificate upload process. You would have to create 10 different menu items or 10 different tiles on the front page. The only other option is to create a course object, which is not the desireable workflow.
