With the recent update it looks like the manager experience is limit to a single assignment to a single employee at a time. We need to allow managers to choose multiple assignments and MORE IMPORTANTLY multiple employees.

Hello Everyone,
With the August release, Managers will be able to enroll multiple learners into multiple courses.
Managers will be able to select individual learners, all their direct reports, or all of their reports (including indirect reports), select courses, and enroll their desired audience into those courses.
Managers will need to have the Course Enrollments – Modify – Enroll permission, this will be enabled by default for the default manager role and needs to be enabled explicitly for custom manager roles.
Courses will need to have Manager Enrollment enabled before the courses are eligible for Managers to enroll their learners into those courses.
