We would like to streamline the email notification process for our learners to be able to automate a summary email, which instead of sending out individual triggers on an email notification, to send out a digestable summary email which informs the learners of:
For Enrolled Courses and Curriculums:
Expiring Courses
Expired Courses
In Progress Courses
Not Started Courses
Upcoming Due Courses
Upcoming Start Dates for their Courses
This would ensure the learners are still notified of their training requirements and keeping people accountable for trainings, without bombarding them and leaving people feeling overwhelmed at the number of trainings from the volume of email notifications clogging up an inbox.
It would be great for managers to have a monthly digest email for their direct reports. It would save them logging into the Manager Experience and manually checking.
This is a good idea, maybe get sent out once a week or month. Would save users from receiving tonnes of Absorb emails and ignoring them all.
This would be very useful for us too as the volume of trainings assigned means an overwhelming number of emails for learners and managers, this was a functionality in a previous LMS and the digest was so well received by managers and learners.
This would be a very beneficial feature for our organization. We have a dozen courses and 9 certifications. Our customers often purchase different combinations depending on their needs, which makes curriculums impractical. It'd be great if when someone is enrolled in multiple courses, they get a single streamlined email, rather than an email for each course.
This is something we implemented in our own system at our client's request. We have a setting at their account level that will send a daily digest instead of one email per item they need to review/approve. This reduces the number of emails in their inbox. For each item though, we also have a setting called 'urgent' that will override the daily digest and instead send an email separately. The same functionality in Absorb would be great as it would keep our LMS content in line with our software content.
