Activity: We upload bulk user groups and then enroll them (in groups) to multiple courses (as many 20 users and 10 courses at a time).
When the course enrolment emails are dispatched - the user (and the administrator monitoring the system) receives an email for their (each) user enrolment and then one for every course they are enrolled in, including Nudge emails and completions.
Challenge: That's a lot of emails.
Proposed solution:
Rather than deactivate the copy of messages from the system to the admin
Could we configure the Absorb to allow Admins to configure to choose to send:
- 'New User' message template (same as current)
BUT instead of a message for each enrolled course, users receive
- a 'Multiple Courses' enrolled message template - and
- 'Multiple Courses Nudge' message template that is sent at the same Nudge intervals, but includes list of any incomplete enrolled courses and expiry date.
Impact:
Time saved reviewing /deleting / 'filing' multiple emails for multiple users in multiple courses .
