Currently, inactive users are included in the Manager Experience direct reports. Admins must manually delete inactive users from the Managers direct reports list.
I believe this should be implemented. I needed to pull a report of all managers and due to this, I had managers on the list who no longer have direct reports. This is causing inaccurate reporting.
Thank you for your feedback and idea, while I understand that having inactive users automatically removed from direct reports may fit well for some use-cases, I don't believe it would be appropriate for the LMS to automatically modify user management relationships.
Given the user is inactive, they won't be displayed in the Manager Experience, ensuring that only active users are available to the Manager, however I believe that the removal and modification of the Manager-Direct Report relationship should lie with each organization's administrators.
