Move Certificate location out of Course Overview and back into Course Progress Area.

After completing a course, earned certificates are being generated within the Course Overview area. This location for providing users their certificates within the course page is poor. The new location where certificates are provided within the course page is causing more confusion among users and overall email traffic.

• Users will have trouble locating their certificates here.

  • They will not be aware that this is the location where certificates are made available at a glance on the course page.

  • Certificates here are out of view. Users need to scroll through important course information provided here in order to locate their certificate at the very bottom.

• It just doesn't make sense.

  • It would be more expected that the Overview area for a course page would contain information pertaining to the course subject only. Not a location containing completion items.

Certificates are awarded after courses are completed. It's very much the end goal of a line of progress. Thus, placing certificates back into the progress area of a course page makes more sense. This makes it more apparent to users when on the course page and as a part of their course progress.
