Many of our ILC courses run only a few times a year. Currently, learners must return to the LMS to determine if new sessions have been added. Adding a "notify me" option to the course would be useful. The learner would receive an email notification from the LMS when new sessions are added. This would be especially helpful if a course has multiple-session enrollment enabled. (e.g., Lunch and Learns, Skills Days, etc.)
Thank you for the idea. To clarify, are you looking for admins to have the ability to configure this notification or for a learner to indicate they want to be notified after enrolling in an ILC?
I use a waitlist for a fictional session date (ex. Dec 31, 11:59pm) to accomplish this, so a proper solution would be amazing!
My workaround.... works... but at the same time I had a learner last week complaining that they intend to be "off work" on Sunday Dec 31 at 11:59 pm, despite everything about the session indicating it was a placeholder and we'd e-mail those who signed up when real dates were scheduled.
I really like this idea. Especially to prevent a learner from going in multiple times to see if there is a session added.
