The External Training Template is really basic with just a couple of fields. If we could add more Free Text Fields here then it would allow more to be done with it.
For example, our Fee Earners are required to log CPD hours and then submit them at the end of the year. Currently they do this in Excel because Absorb does not have the capacity to hold the information in the external training template.
It seems that adding in just 3 free text fields would mean that all CPD hours and reflection could be logged in to Absorb and allow CPD to be completely integrated with L&D. The Fee Earners could run the report at the end of the year and submit this direct to the body that they are required to do so without needing to keep multiple files.
