In upskill it is possible to enroll to a course if course is active and there is no upcoming sessions. In case of ILC this is wery confusing to the partisipant as they do not understand taht there should be an actual session ( Upskill does not guide the user).
We have had cases where people have been enrolling to a ILC course level and then they thing taht when the next session will open in Upskill, they are automatically enrolled to the session...they are not. Also we do not know in January, what is the ILC location taht we will do in May. It has happened taht persons from India have enrolled to a course and then later we will arrange the session in Europe. Indian persons dont want to come to Europe, so it is a big manual task to check wi hte people taht they understand waht they were enrolling to.
So when it comes to ILC that are actual class room trainings where people need to travel, this functionality should be removed.
In Absorb I don't think users should be allowed to enrol on an ILC if there are no current available/live sessions. Users think they are on a session when in fact they missed a step because it wasn't there. This is a trap our new users fall into.
