Currently, message templates include a "send to supervisor" toggle, but with the new manager experience enhancement, messages should be directed to the appropriate supervisor or manager based on the manager field rather than the supervisor field. This adjustment would save time for an admin, eliminating the need to input both supervisor and direct reports fields.
Agreed, not sure why they didn't delete the supervisor role when the manager experience was introduced, it just complicates things.
