Many of our clients provide a copy of their transcript as proof of course completion for CEUs and since learner time cannot be put on certificates at the moment, it would be nice for learner time to populate on the transcript so they can pull the reports themselves rather than having us pull them constantly.
It would be nice if the learner could see how much time they spent in a course period. Adding it to the transcript is probably the best way to do it. A lot of our courses are approved by government agencies and the # of credits awarded to courses are based on the # of hours in each course. Having the learner know how much time they spent in the course saves us phone calls from learners saying "they feel like the course is too long" as we would be able to tell them to view the time spent and let them know approximately how much time they have left in a course.
Would be good on the admin and learner facing transcripts. We have a bonus program that is somewhat reliant on hours of training taken, so we are in the same boat of people constantly asking.
This would also assist our customers for CPD tracking. It would be good if they could drill into the detail per course to see when time was spent.
