The Notes field within the certificate area of courses is used to house performance objectives for us, but the lack of an HTML editor makes it challenging to format. Additionally, we'd like to easily be able to report on that field so we can search for keywords (ideally without the HTML). When we don't have a certificate, we also use the Notes field under "More", and the same applies there. We have started adding the objectives to the course description as well to account for being able to report on them, but the HTML view that appears in the CSV file makes that messy, and ideally, we don't always need them to be visible to the learner.
Agreed. We like to export the course list and descriptions to a file that others can access, and the descriptions are basically unreadible because of the format. thanks!
