There are times when we receive subtitle files and don't need to use the transcribe video option which always has errors in it. It would be great to be able to use the subtitle files as the transcription that shows up in the panel on the right when a learner watches the video.
I agree. I've corrected the transcript before and then made a change to the location of the video file and the lesson is freshly transcribed. Very frustrating.
That being said, I would still like to use the auto transcription but have it associated with the video file and not with the lesson so that I can fix it once and have it corrected in any courses where the lesson appears, and have it static unless I update the video file.
