Request for explanation feature in quiz module

I am currently lacking a feature that allows me to add explanations after every correct answer in a quiz. When I create a quiz, I want to be able to provide an explanation for each question, detailing why the selected answer is correct. This feature is crucial for enhancing the learning experience by helping users understand the reasoning behind the correct answers. Unfortunately, this functionality is not available on the platform at the moment. This is essential for every team that creates content, as it would significantly improve the quality and effectiveness of our educational materials.

Thank you for taking the time to share your idea with us! As Lucy mentioned, this feature is already available when creating quiz questions in the Question Bank page. There, you can select a message to be displayed when a learner answers a question correctly or incorrectly.

For reference, please see the screenshot below, along with this link for further details.

We truly appreciate your input and the time you took to contribute. I’ll mark this request as "Currently Available," but please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or suggestions on how this feature could be improved. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we’re grateful for your contribution!

This might not be what you're looking for, but if you create a Question Bank, each question gives the option for Feedback if the answer is correct or incorrect. There is a text box where you can customize what displays for each question based on whether the answer was right or wrong. Then in the quiz settings when creating the course, select "show feedback" in the options.
