Currently in the Course Catalog if I want to group courses by Category it shows in a "folder icon" . Our users are very visual and the look and feel of the file folders is not appealing. It would be wonderful if we could customize the Catalog further so that we can create Course "Ribbons" in the catalog. This was we can group courses by category and members can see what courses are in that category without having to click into a folder. This way they can stay on the main catalog page, but then "preview" the course categories in a more organized way. It also allows Admins to customize the catalog view further to better highlight important courses. I realize this feature is available on the Dashboard, but we prefer to leave our dashboard very uncluttered and clean.
