Please enable Observation Checklists on Mobile App
This will improve on the job accessibility for workers in "hands-on" positions i.e. medical assistants, quick serve restaurant staff, mechanics, warehouse/logistics laborers
I am here to second this. I've been demo'ing with Absorb (shoutout to Zaigham and Brandon!) and inquiring as to the function on the app regarding Observation Checklists. We are training people in the field and no one wants to carry around a laptop for this. Or go through the extra steps of taking notes on one device and entering them a second time on a desktop/laptop. We'd love if you prioritize this!
I think this is really needed. If the learner could upload a video (Manual handling) of them completing the task (Left for example) it would be much easier to assess and pass or fail the task.
Would also love to be able to add pictures or audio. I had these options when creating an observation checklist using Pronto Forms. It was very helpful for proof of certain observations.
For us, even if the learners could request an observation checklist in the app it would help. At this point we can't use the app because the courses with observation checklists would have to be completely separate from all other content, currently it's part of a curricula. So we're not using the app until this is part of it's functionality.
Moved to likely to implement in regards to learner self-review in the learner interface/mobile app although there is no work scheduled it is something we'd like to do.
Hi Andrew, Thanks for putting this in, Jeremy and I had talked about how having a learner self-review in the mobile app would make sense based on the workflows we have today, but it wouldn't make sense for reviewers to do the review there as they are not learners and it's not the intent of the mobile app.
If we implement learner self-review then this could easily go in to the mobile app, as well as the learner interface, but we wouldn't make two places for reviewers as this would confuse the intent of the workflow we designed.
Reviewers really should be able to use the reviewer interface 'like an app' it behaves no differently. The only differences are it's not offline (which we do know is a requirement but is something we could enhance it to be in its existing state through PWA technology), and that they don't have to download it from the app store.
Let us know your thoughts or any additional context you might have.
Making the Observational Checklist available for Mobile App.
Merged
The mobile app does not allow for an Observational to be reviewed and graded. This would be great for ease of use and allowing flexibility for reviewers.

Ob Checklists are a key requirement of our LMS use case. Without this function the Mobile App is largely useless to us.

Also thought it would be good to have this available Offline
