Make a check on the Course upload to carry the certificate or document onto the Transcript through the External Training upload. For example MSHA training I need staff to download a pdf sign it off and upload it to the course to complete the course. Need this pdf also to show on the Transcript so the workaround is having an individual upload it twice. Once through the course upload to complete the course and the second through the External Training to get it on the transcript for viewing by others.
Is this idea saying it would be awesome if there were an option to have the uploaded certificate be used as the "certificate of completion" for the course instead of the default or an uploaded certificate template? If so, I am totally in agreement with this idea.
This, for our purposes, would be used in a curriculum where we offer a course online through the LMS, but the student may have equivalent training with a certificate to prove it. A student may choose between the online course or a course which is just uploading instructions and a certificate upload. Currently the upload satisfies the curriculum group and the course provides a Certificate of Completion. How awesome it would be if that certificate could be the uploaded certificate!
I know there is an "external training" function that works like this is some ways, but it is anywhere near as efficient and beautiful as this ideas would be.
In addition to the above learner needs to be able to access uploaded docs from the mobile app that have been added to the transcript via the External Training form - which is a part of the learners transcript once uploaded & saved.
