When looking at a course page, the tags are very prominent and looks messy, especially when you include multiple tags for variations of what people may use to search. This also exacerbates the fact that the Resources area on a course page is not highly visible and drowns that out even more. I would like to remove them as an option perhaps.
Agreed! Or, have it be an option in the course set up. Tags on/off for this course? A simple toggle would do!
I agree with Chris -- having an expandable/collapsible option would be helpful.
We had to turn off the auto-tag feature because of how sloppy it looked and course builders didn't realize the tag now just show up and it was no good, yet.
I agree it's ugly currently, but can see the benefit so people know what tags they could search with to find related content in other courses. Perhaps have a tab or expandable/collapsible area, similar to Resources on a course would work.
