Hello! We just ran into this issue. We originally had the template settings under My Courses and Catalog to "Show Courses Outside Curricula". We did this so that users weren't inundated with tiles on the My Courses dashboard web part.
The learner went to My Transcript and found her incomplete coursework and was confused on why she was not able to click on the title of that course in her transcript and be taken to the course to take it. A better user experience would be to allow the user to click on that title from a transcript and go directly to the course page.
Ultimately, we had to "Hide courses outside of curricula", which causes us other issues of staff having too many tiles on their My Dashboard web part. Hope to see fixed in the new Learner Experience!
Thank you for this idea. This improvement to our transcript (along with others) are on our radar for our next generation of LE and is likely for 2022. More specific dates will be provided once our 2022 roadmap is available.
Learners now have the ability to launch courses from the transcript (November 2022 release) – start Not Started courses, resume In Progress courses, and review Completed courses. Good day. This is targeted to go out with our November release on Nov 27/28.
