We would like to be able to hide built in fields from certain admin roles (ex: Job Title, Gender). There are a lot of fields that our LMS does not use and we would like to hide them from admins at certain levels to avoid confusion.

Competencies should allowed to decay or expire

If I was competent at something five years ago, there is no reason to assume with certainty that I am still competent. The ability to set decay or expiration dates for competencies would allow for more granular pre-requisite controls.
