Setting up a custom dashboard template is VERY time consuming. It would be incredibly helpful to be able to setup a template and then duplicate that template and make minor changes, rather than start from scratch for each individual template.
I agree. I had to create multiple dashboards and only the department was different, so it was very time consuming to have to start from scratch every time.
To add to this. It would be helpful to have the following features for Templates:
Duplicate templates and all of their current features/inheritance settings
If features are inherited, then if a change is made to a feature on the "master" template, then that change will reflect in all templates who inherited that feature.

Along the same lines, abilities like Inherit from ANY other template, or the ability to modify the visibility departments would go a long way.
