Currently - when you make a change to enrollment rules the system will tell you how many users meet the rules, how many have an existing enrollment, and how many will receive a new enrollment.
We would like the system to give us the option to drill further into which users will receive a new enrollment.
For example, if 3 users will receive a new enrollment I'd like to click "show me who." and see the list of users that will be enrolled.
How is this 'unlikely to implement'? This seems like core functionality...
I am still trialing Absorb LMS, but I am grateful for this preview as it works consistently. Our current LMS provides the number of affected users only after the criteria has been set, and then it only does so 20% of the time. It takes approx. 10 minutes to actually see the list of affected users.
There are some challenges in making this work properly that the summary message doesn't share, meaning it's more difficult than it appears at first blush. We've talked about doing exactly this on several occasions, but commitments to higher utility items have historically taken precedent. We already have quite a few items for the 2022 roadmap so it is unlikely we will be able to expend the effort to do this item properly.
Has anyone else noticed that sometimes the number of learners that will be enrolled in this box doesn't match what actually happens?
For example, an auto enrollment rule is modified and you see the box that states "134 users meet the automatic enrollment rules you have set. 133 have an existing enrollment, with 1 receiving a new enrollment."
Then when you click save, the Modified Enrollment Filter box pops up and has different information, "Based on the automatic enrollment rules, 0 users will be enrolled.
I see this regularly and double check the enrollments. Usually I do not find that 1 new enrollment.
Yes PLEASE! We have a lot of complex rules and to be able to drill down would help to make sure the rules are configured correctly!
Wonderful Idea! I would love to see this impleminted asap!
This is a GREAT idea and would be extremely beneficial for all!
