We have several employees that need to upload their credentials, certifications and/or licenses to the LMS to show completetion of a course which is provided by an outside vender. If a user uploads their certificate of completion or scan of their license it does not show in their transcript and has to be located in the course upload section. It would be extremly usefull if course uploads could also be viewed in the user's transcript. Thank you!
Is this idea syaing it would be awesome if there were an option to have the uploaded certificate be used as the "certificate of completion" for the course instead of the default or an uploaded certificate template? If so, I am totally in agreement with this idea.
This, for our purposes, would be used in a curriculum where we offer a course online through the LMS, but the student may have equivalent training with a certificate to prove it. A student may choose between the online course or a course which is just uploading instructions and a certificate upload. Currently the upload satisfies the curriculum group and the course provides a Certificate of Completion. How awesome it would be if that certicate could be the uploaded certificate!
I know there is an "external training" function that works like this is some ways, but it is anywhere near as efficient and beautiful as this ideas would be.
