I understand that groups in Analyze function at a backend level, which allows us to share with all viewers but it would be great to have groups that allowed us to share with specific sub segments of viewers that are more dynamic. Example would be a group of users with a specific role (security level)

We need this. Instead of reporting being quick, which is what we want and need, it is tedious and time-consuming to reshare 30+ reports every quarter with 30+ people each time.
This would be a wonderful enhancement to have in Analyze.
My organization opted to move to Analyze Direct with this as one major sticking point. If we can't share our dashboards and reports to entire groups, then there's no reason for us to build them. Sharing reports on an individual basis, with 35k employees, is counterintuitive to what we expect of a system this robust. Simply put, sharing reports one by one is not sustainable for large companies who have the budget for something like Analyze.

If this is valuable to our Analyze clients, then having more votes on this from different clients would be a great way to get this made visible to our Product Management team for prioritization.
The work to do this is possible but considerable and as such is not a small lift, so showing value by voting and commenting is important.

This is SO critical for any larger organization.
Imagine you have 50 dashboards in five folders and 40 viewers for each folder. For each dashboard, you need to go into share, and manually select the 40 people who need access. When a new person is hired, you have to go into each of the dashboards and grant them access. The lack of groups is a huge issue for anyone with scale.
