Observation Checklists | Mark Attachments as Mandatory

The upload field should have an option to be marked mandatory. It is very easy to miss that step when required because the reviewer missed it, or because they forgot to hit the second "Attach" option. Speaking of that, when selecting attach, the file browser opens, I select a document and it updates on screen. Why does it then also require a secondary attach to actually upload to document? It becomes very easy to think you attached the document, but in reality, it was only a preview. I do like that there is a separate comment field for the attachments, but I find it will drive confusion when attempting to attach the documents.

What a good idea. I will try it and see if it would work for us to do it that way.

This is a good point Jolie. I will get this created as a separate idea in the portal so people can up vote it (Attaching checklists to ILC).

A way you could do this though would be to create a curriculum and add the two types of course within it and make them dependent on each other, is there are reason you wouldn't take this approach?

I, on the other hand, wanted an option where an upload is not mandatory. Some courses are not marked as complete because we don't impersonate every student and upload a certificate. That takes way too much time. We want for students to be able to choose to upload a certificate or their answers for review to a course, but not have their completion dependent on that.

The idea of using an observation checklist is great, but is not available in ILCs. I am looking more for an optional upload. We use it for

    --Certificates

    --Objectives and expectations/goals

--Action steps and plans to implement
