Course Version Should be a Field when Viewing List of courses (Admin Side)
It would be handy to be able to see what version a course is when you are looking at the full list of all courses within your system. This field does not appear in the choices that are available to add to this view.
I would like to add that our company will soon be deploying a document management system. 3,000 controlled documents will be imported Absorb LMS as courses. We will need to set the Course Version for every single course. Even if I enlist a team of co-workers to help, it may take up to a week to complete. As the Course Version field is not visible in any report other than the Course Activity report (and not available in Analyze), I have no way of determining if anyone on the team entered the correct value! All of these documents are subject to audit by the FDA, so data accuracy is critical.
Sorry that the response is coming a bit late, we have a threshold before reviewing an idea so this might have influenced the response time. This is a great idea, Course version and Course version notes are available in the Course activity report. Do you expect to see this data point elsewhere, if so could you share where?
I agree. We have many departments that have admins that need to be able to see which of their courses need to be updated and which version they are on.

Thanks for the screenshot Tracy, I'll update this thread if we're able to make this update.
At a minimum, the Course Version field should be available in any course or enrollment-related report.

I think the request is to have these fields available on the same screen/report where you create courses within your system
