Can it be created an archive folder and an active folder for certificates, so that we could have on the active folder the last certificate that a colleague would have for each training module and all the remaining training certificates moved to the archive folder, this could be implemented by moving each certificate to the archive folder when a new certificate is issued for a specific training module.
Let me know if this is possible to implement or if there could be a different implementation for the above.
Hi Gregg,
Thanks for clarifying, this will inform our improvements in our LMS reporting.
We use certifcates for forklift training, which must be completed every three years. We only want to see the most recent certifcate, but would like to be able to view a certifcate that has been archived due to a recertification.
Hi Folks,
Thanks for sharing this suggestion.
Could you tell me more about your use-case for archiving certificates?
Do you envision being able to report on the archived certificates as well?
Absolutely crucial if you want to be able to report on what training that is expiring has been renewed.
This would be great for us as well. If we could somehow also toggle how the certificate is archived based on whether a new certificate for the same course has been earned OR based on the certificate expiry date, that would be a huge plus.
Yes, this would be very helpful.
We have reports set up so that supervisors can follow up on users who have NOT uploaded their new certificates to the system. The issues is, if you show expired certificates, they arent removed when the new certificate is uploaded, so we need to go in and delete the old certificates each month so users arent accidently followed up.
