Attendance Sheet Upload

Make it so that you can upload an attendance sheet from Zoom or Teams for an ILT session and it will automatically update attendance in Absorb for that session. Including how long each person attended for and setting for how long they need to have attended to count as complete

Absorb has implemented an integrated attendance autofill when using the Teams, Zoom or Webex virtual meeting integrations. This can be enabled in your LMS portal settings. Note that there is a one-time re-authorization required for your integration to grant the permissions needed to request the attendances.

I understand why this has to be aligned with your integrations (for the automated attendance reconciliation), but we cannot use your Teams integration because it limits our ability to manage the meeting options in Teams. Please consider also supporting a simpler version of the request - just attaching an attendance record (XLS) to the session.

Thank you for making this recommendation. Specifically for Teams and Zoom, the Product team has planned to include functionality to auto-fill attendances for ILC sessions when using our Teams or Zoom integrations. When available, you will be able to press an auto-fill button on the Mark Attendance page, and the LMS will request a list of users from Teams (or Zoom). The LMS will attempt to reconcile the list received against the attendee list. This functionality is planned for Q1 2023.

Evaluating present/absent based on a duration is something we may choose to look at for future enhancements to the auto-fill. This may depend on what information we get back when we request this data from the video conference vendors.

It would be great to see this as an attachment to the session we could use it for ILC also if I could scan a copy of my sign in sheet to keep for storage purposes
