Add a message to users when a course is added/revised in a curriculum

We often use curriculums to group feature training and keep courses organized. When we add a new feature lesson, it goes into a previously existing curriculum, but learners are not notified that a new course is added.

We face the same problem, we drop themed series using curriculums and add courses along the way. IF the status is already set to "complete" it won't update and we have to manually do that. Even then the learners are not aware of any changes in the curriculum. We would really like for this to be revisited as stated by the OP. It is so needed!

I support this idea also. There should also be an option to add a place- holder for future courses to be launched in the same curriculum and it should be greyed out so that learners can't access it until the future. This is so that the learners can see first hand their progress (which should remain incomplete) and there are more courses to come.

I support the idea to inform learners when a course has been revised, or updated. This is especially critical when the self-enrollment is allowed. After completion, Learners see the course/curriculum, as such, unaware that changes have been added. If informed that it is now the case, many are apt to reenroll, clearing out their complete status for unchanged courses. This is particularly problematic, for courses that are lengthy.

This is not currently on the roadmap at this time.

I would love something like this or even something like if you add or update a learning object in a course or curriculum, that we are given the option to push it back to learner dashboards so they know there is something new or updated in that course.

Addition to the original request! When new courses are added to curriculums, can we revise the "percentage complete" section? It stays at 100% if a learner finished all courses at one point. So then they think there's nothing new in there, when in fact, there is and it is available to them.
