Within the Create tool, we cannot specify what course we would like the lesson dropped into, as when published it automatically publishes into a new course.
Right now you can workaround by
Exporting the content to SCORM and then load them to a single course in the LMS.
Once a lesson is published within a course, you can then share that lesson between courses. This would mean that you build and publish each lesson as a separate course and then in the new course you are building you can use the Use Existing learning object to share each lesson to a single course. If you were to make any changes in Create the would update in both the original as well as the shared version of the course, limited the export/upload time that would occur with the SCORM files.
However, being able to choose either "New Course" or "Publish to Existing Course" and being able to choose if that is a new lesson/learning object would clean that up a little bit.
Yes! We do #2. We name the first published course [Name of Course] - OG, and then add it where it belongs after the fact. We then filter in our course report to not show all of the "- OG" courses. It's difficult to manage b/c we then need to make sure that admins cannot enroll users in these "- OG" courses. So, there are a lot of steps. I agree that the option to publish to an existing course would be a time saver!
