To engage learners in the platform more for an ILC course it would be great if course pages could be added so a learner could have an Introduction (possibly a video), complete pre-class tasks/assessment (helpful if a bulk export of assessment could be sent to Instructor), then learner would enroll into a class date and attend, and finally complete any post-class learning. It would be ideal if pacing or required training could be toggled to enable/disable. An extra bonus would be if there is a way to engage a learner's manager whether through notifications or post-class coaching opportunities.
Thank you Brian for your suggestion. We also use curriculums for our subscription product, which would be a nice solution except you can't add a curriculum to a curriculum. We are looking for a solution that allows this type of flexibility at the course level so that when we add to our subscription curriculum product the flow is user-friendly. Also, post-enrollment triggered courses sit outside a curriculum if the trigger is based on ILC course completion. This distracts from our desired user experience.
I've been using ILCs and assessments in curriculums to do this and works well for the most part. Or set prerequisites on the ILC and assessment and post-enrollment triggers on the pre-work
