The admin had deleted re-enrollments for learners who had already completed a course prior to the re-enrollment. This deletion led to the learners having historic enrollments, but the admin could not longer see their activity progress for the course. A request for this to be restored was submitted by the CSM to the appropriate Absorb team. Instead of having to submit a request to us (Absorb) to have this restoration done, the admin wants the option to restore on his own.
Please correct this or provide the Help Desk the ability to revert the Historical course. Team Members accidentally re-enroll too often instead of using the 'view' feature. We certainly do not want to un-enroll and clear all of their history, so we're a bit stuck.
This also causes our average 'time to complete' a course to be skewed.
Thank you for re-considering.
Tragic that this is not on the roadmap. It is something we need to very frequently and makes Absorb less useful to all the admin and managers.
Thank you for sharing your idea with us. After careful consideration, we’ve determined that we are unable to prioritize this suggestion at this time. While we recognize its value, our current roadmap commitments and resource constraints prevent us from pursuing it in the near future.
Please know that your idea remains in our repository, and we will revisit it as we continue evaluating improvements to restoring deleted enrollments and tracking course progress for users.
Your feedback plays a vital role in shaping our platform, and we truly appreciate your contribution.
We would also like to have this feature. Since Absorb doesn't have the option for blended courses, and curriculums remove any course-level restrictions/availability rules, we often run into the issue where people enrolled in an ILT that is within an curriculum end up re-enrolling in the ILT instead of enrolling in the subsequent evaluation within the same curriculum. If we re-enroll them in the session, then it creates duplicates in reporting. If we don't reenroll in the session, they're unable to see it on their end as a learner. Being able to restore the historic/deleted enrollment would resolve this. This is a regular issue that we encounter.
This would be a great feature to have! Being able to retrieve a historical enrollmnent or 'restore' a historical enrollment would be very helpful for us as well.
