Allow for Additional Playback Speeds for videos in a Create course
I love the new update allowing people to watch videos at different speeds, could this be implemented so that videos incorporated in a Create course can also be played at different speeds?
+1 for this! Please enable this feature in Create. It is an inconsistent experience for learners, as videos added within the LMS interface can have playback speed adjusted, but videos (and any slides that have voiceover or time-to-slide added) built in a course in Create do not. End learners do not have visibility into the fact that the courses were built in two modules within the same system (Create vs. the LMS) and it should be a consistent experience across all videos, regardless of what Absorb module they are created in. Thank you!
+1 for this feature. Clients would love to have this and it would help with engagement on primarily video based courses. Seems like if this option is available in the default course builder, it should be available in the premium (paid) course builder as well.
+1 - Would love to see additional playback speeds functionality added to the create tool especially because it is already available in the "courses" area of the product.
This is a basic functionality within the instructional design ecosystems - why is this not implemented yet - providing attractive online based learning requires freedom to adjust for learner's pace.
We received lot of feedback through our partners / customers (expereinced & unexperienced LMS users) on the absence of this functionality.
It doesn't make sense not to have the playback speed available in Create. Not sure why there is no consistency across your product. Furthermore, for any video player, it's the most basic functionality and a MUST HAVE. We considered building our courses via Create, but after running an internal survey where 88% of the people said they would not watch a video if a playback speed was not an option, we took a step back.
