Previewing a SCORM package lets you check if it works correctly as a lesson object.
But it does not let you check if the results are submitted as intended. For this you need to enroll and complete the course as a learner.
Who will benefit? Every single Admin who uploads SCORM packages. Just some kind of message or window that shows you "This is sent to the SCORM", parsed or the raw text.
This cuts down a lot on testing workflow steps since you
1) Do not have to leave the course edit / creation page
2) Do not have to enroll yourself or a test user
3) Go to Learner experience and take the course
4) Unenroll the test user or yourself again if needed.
5) Go back to Admin course edit and upload a new copy of the scorm package if changes are required.
Thank you for sharing your idea with us. We’re excited to announce that your suggestion has been implemented and is now available on our platform.
You can access this enhancement when creating or editing an online course. After adding a SCORM file, you’ll now see a button labeled "Preview Lesson Content." This new feature allows you to preview the SCORM file directly, without needing to enroll yourself as a learner to experience the course. Please refer to the screenshot for additional details.
Your input was instrumental in making this improvement a reality, and we’re truly grateful for your contribution. If you have any questions about this feature or further suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
