This is useful so clients aren't forced to build their own API with the third-party, Credly. THis is used when users complete a course or curriculum in Absorb, it will automatically be pushed to Credly. Clients are forced to build their own API connection which is costly and time-consuming. Multiple clients use Credly for their badge needs.
A purpose build integration with Credly may be interesting for the Absorb product team to consider. We will report back once further discussions have taken place.
For the External Sales team, this now comes up several times per week as a request during demos.
Most companies that train external users, want their external users to be able to display credentials on LinkedIn and other social media as it validates that having skills in that company's product/service is a skill that gets people hired, etc..
