We are using a structure of departments that reflects the work location of our learners : shop or office. For each city where we have a facility, we have a department in Absorb. And we then have sub-departments for office and plant employees.
Because of the way they connect to the platform, because they are using shared computers, because many are less familiar with computers, we want to have a simplified template for the plant employees throughout the entire company.
With the current template feature, which allows to select only one department (and its children), we need to create a template for each plant. Which is time consuming and error-prone.
The Department-Template page is still in the 'old interface' so I assume it will be updated in the coming months/years. It would be useful to be able to select multiple departments that do not not have the same parent and apply a given template to all of them.
