I think it could be helpful when creating courses, to have the option to create either a single-session ILC or a multi-session ILC (two completely different course types). While I understand the need for some ILCs to have the option of multiple sessions, many of my courses will only have one session and are currently overly complicated when setting up.
For example, if we are running a webinar, it would be nice for the learners to enrol in the course and receive the meeting invite without having to bother with choosing sessions or pressing multiple buttons to be added to a session. It could also make reporting a bit easier and cleaner without having to check that learners are in a course AND session.
